The food was so good! Visiting from out of state and wanted authentic Cuban food. Restaurant is family owned and the service was impeccable. Portion size is very good too with the prices. The queso frito appetizer was my families favorite appetizer, but I got the Churrasco a lo Chinatown and it was cooked to perfection and so tasty. I would definitely come back!!!

Dined inside. The atmosphere was pleasant with impressive artwork and murals of Cuba. The service was great as well. Having enjoyed the aesthetics of this place shocked me to the core after I found the remains of a cockroach carcass in my Piccadillo platter. I had leftovers so I took them home to share with my wife. As soon as I arrived home, I untied the double knot I had made at the restaurant, opened and emptied the contents onto a plate and into the microwave. I took it out, stirred it and tasted it for temperature and salt, then discovered the horror of a bug cadaver in my mouth.

Fantastic experience. I went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon and the service in the atmosphere was just top notch the beautiful decorations inside and outside the restaurant really make you feel immersed into the jungles of Cuba. The friendly staff was more than accommodating. They gave great recommendations on what to try and the lunch specials were not only perfect for the price but great in portion definitely a family friendly restaurant the things that stood out to me the most were their appetizers called the “Queso Frita” with the guava sauce and the Queso Flan which was better than my Puerto Rican grandmother‘s homemade flan. Would absolutely recommend anybody in the area to come stop by and enjoy the beautiful authentic Cuban cuisine.

Babulu's is the most amazing place we have eaten for Latin American cuisine, including trying places in the Miami area. We will never go anywhere else. We tried out of curiosity- it was a mistake & it will never happen again. This family restaurant serves their amazing food with pride. **Every meal** we have eaten has been excellent (we come here almost every weekend). We have tried almost everything on the menu and have NEVER been disappointed. Our favorite are the Chicharrones (pork rinds appetizer), but truly nothing (not even their Asian dish) has been anything short of amazing. You can safely order anything from here and will be very happy with what you receive. They use fresh ingredients, and even their food presentation is on point. I have attached just some photos of our o

I read all the reviews about Babalu’s Cuban Cafe, and was excited to try it! The rave about how good the food was, so I was finally going to try their food, I was excited to go out and have a great dinner! My husband and I went to Babalu’s for dinner. The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was very friendly and pleasant! My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich, he said it was good, but you would think for the price there would be real ham and some roast pork. Not so much. I ordered the Lo Oriental fried rice and shrimps! Wow really salty food! That’s exactly What I got! I was really expecting delicious food! What I got was a salty dish of fried rice and very salty shrimps drowned in soy sauce! Shrimps were overcooked and literally drowned in soy sauce, with a twist of onions, red peppers
