B & P Drive In

I was starving Sunday evening and didn’t think that they would be open and I was so excited they was, if you turn around and face the road, you’ll get a good glimpse of the moon rising over the trees. It’s beautiful.

We arrived on a Tuesday and enjoyed the 2 cheeseburgers for $3.00 deal. These burgers were great - better than any fast food cheeseburger. They came with a nice generous slice of onion and tomato. I wish they had been accompanied by some fresh fries vs. the frozen ones. That would make this stop a definite 'yes' when driving near Hillsville. Service was prompt and meal delivery was quick.

My wife and I ate here for the first time yesterday. This is a curb service and cash only business serving hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fries, and many other like foods. I had a foot long hot dog and fries while my wife had 2 cheeseburgers. The food was excellent and we will return. There is no place to sit down and we ate in our cars which was awesome. This place is a throw back from days gone by and we loved it.

The best hot dogs I have been tasting hot dogs from 8 different restaurants and so far B & P ranks 8 out of 10. This is in taste, service, & price. The only I wish the chilly taste more like homemade

We were passing through VA tonight on a road trip from Maryland back home to Charlotte. We'd pulled off 77 to find a quick bite and tried to go to Wendy's. Turned out they were closing early, so we dug into what else was nearby. Being that my family ran a similar establishment for 75 years, I was drawn to this spot. When we pulled up, I was a bit confused by the curbside only setup, but the food and service here was outstanding. It reminded me of my family's business growing up. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich since breakfast is available all day. It was fresh and tasted great. My wife and one child had burgers, which they enjoyed. My other child got a footlong hotdog, which I've not had aside from at my family's business. Real blast from the past. I wasn't crazy about
