I originally had my review at one star, but tasted the gumbo beforehand, luckily. I live extremely close and this place was packed tonight, so I pulled in. Got the jambalaya and gumbo (served separate from rice - kudos for that). See below for photos. Gumbo was 4.99 for about a 3rd of a quart. In my opinion, a good deal. Jambalaya was either 6.99 or 7.99, but I honestly don’t remember which one. The good: the gumbo was hot, fresh, and what I believe to be a good portion for a meal for ONLY 5 bucks. You aren’t beating that anywhere. The bad: jambalaya seemed a tad small for the price and was, I kid you not, ICE COLD. I placed an order for 15 people for Shrimp boil, Chicken/sausage gumbo and Fried chicken strips for Friday night. Everything was ready on time and perfectly packed and secured. Guests stated it is THE BEST GUMBO they had! Mr. Wayne was very courteous and addressed all my questions and concerns (since it was a corporate event). Everything was very tasty! The shrimp and potatoes were perfectly cooked and kids LOVED the fried chicken and fries. Thank you, for an amazing dinner! (Unfortunately no pics. All food was gone.)

The boiled crawfish is very good. Highly recommend this place.

I bought 30 pounds live crawfish. Probably 1/3 of them were dead. Cooked the rest and they were great!

Mr. Wayne brings the best seafood up from the bayou and the gulf. He takes care of us North Louisiana folks.
