Azteca Mexican Restaurants

Large selection, good food, attentive service, all good! I was glad to see that they were clear on the menu about shredded beef including shredded pork. Disappointing but glad it was stated. Also, the refried beans often have animal products. Good to know. The shredded chicken enchilada in a red sauce was good. Prices were a little high but it is a chain with a good reputation so I understand. It's a well lit place, not a low-light restaurant. A good experience.

Pretty tasty meal. My partner got some sort of two burrito plate and I got a vegetarian rice and bean bowl. The vegetables were a little cold when I got the dish, but it still tasted great. While I never got our servers name, he was super friendly, checked on our table several times, refilled our chips and salsa, and whe I asked for a substitute for my burrito bowl he was very informative that what I was asking for had contents of pork in it, which I found very helpful.

My team all chipped in and bought two party platters from this Azteca. We ordered the combo platter and the burrito finger platter. What a mistake. The burrito meat was dry and bland. There was a disproportional amount of tortilla to meat ratio. The tacquitos were burnt and the salsa tasted like costco Kirkland salsa.

We arrived around 8:30pm on a Friday night. We were greeted by our the hostess and we chose to sit in the bar. Our bartender was wearing his "12" jersey as it is the night before the big game vs the 49ers playoff game. The food was amazing and we were actually shocked because it had been too long since we've eaten at Azteca. We just want to thank the team who made our night special! I was so full. I definitely shouldn't have cleaned my plate! 😄

I have been to many azteca restaurants over the years. Our server and the staff were both prompt, courteous, and it was delicious as well. That, and it was during peak traffic to the restaurant. I'd highly recommend this to everyone.
