Azteca Grill

We absolutely loved it here! The food was DELICIOUS, we ordered ceviche, huaraches, tacos with beef and mole de pollo. They do everything from scratch, you can actually feel so many flavors in one dish - well balanced, the texture is perfect. The owner was so welcoming and attentive. If you are in the area, don’t skip this place. Talk to the owner, ask for recommendations.

I stopped in after work for some take out and was SO excited! The staff is incredible, offered chips and salsa while I waited. The ingredients are fresh and colorful. I had the tostadas- phenomenal!! The meal comes with FOUR! Crazy good. The guacamole is perfection. I don’t have a single complaint. Well done!!!

Chose takeout for today, but they gave us free chips & salsa while we waited! Super nice family owned place with really pretty decorations of Aztec culture. Delicious chicken quesadilla. I usually don’t like them because most places just do unseasoned grilled chicken, but this chicken was so yummy and seasoned just right. Also, four tacos per order! Corn tortillas nice and thin, and I enjoyed them even though I usually don’t like corn tortillas.

While driving home this evening, we were debating what to have for dinner and drove by Azteca grill in garwood and decided to give it a shot. We started with the shrimp ceviche and it was spectacular. The chef/owner, Jose, came out to deliver the fabulous dish. It was fresh and tasty. Chips and salsa were homemade and fresh too. Next we had enchiladas verdes, chicken fajitas, and chicken tacos. Everything was fresh and tasty. For dessert, we shared a tres leches which was also homemade, fresh, and perfectly sweet! Highly recommend!

New Restaurant in Garwood! The carne Asado tacos and Calamari was absolutely delicious! Very flavorful, well cooked and great portion. I will be returning back.
