We tried the beef tongue sandwich with crushed green olive, and it was fantastic. The beef tongue was tender and flavorful, and the crushed green olives added a really nice fresh, slightly briny touch that made the sandwich feel unique and well balanced. Every bite tasted fresh and satisfying. The vibe of the place is great, and the owners are super friendly, which makes the whole experience feel even more welcoming. It’s the kind of spot where you feel comfortable right away. The only downside was the parking, which can be a bit tricky around the area. Still, the great food and warm atmosphere definitely make it worth the visit.
Fantastic spot, from the service to the food. We were a party of 8, and since they don’t take reservations for parties larger than 10, we opted to go on the earlier side for dinner. Had no problem getting a large table in the inclosed outside seating area. We ordered a bit of everything and the highlights were the ash-e-Jo (barley soup), beef tongue sandwich, kofteh tabrizi, meatball with pomegranate, and the crispy rice.
We recently visited this restaurant. The food tasted good and the quality was decent. However, the portion size was really small compared to the price we paid. We felt that the amount of food did not match the cost. Honestly, we did not feel full at all. The photos don’t clearly show how small the portions actually were. In person, it was very noticeable. For example, koofteh is a dish that is normally eaten with bread, but they charged us separately for the bread. They asked $3.50 for just two very small pieces. Even the bread portion was small, which was surprising.
The food was absolutely delicious! They serve mostly Persian food, its very authentic, the vibes and aesthetics of the place feels very culturally authentic as well! It feels you’re in Persia back in the 80s before the cultural shift that happened. I loved the whole chicken leg that came with rice, got a little sauce on the side that made it amazing! The workers are very kind and friendly! Overall a great experience and food. Check it out off you want to try authentic Persian food!! The prices are also amazing!
This place changed my life! So cute so cute. It’s perfect for if you want a little dish and a little drink then take a little walk. Interior design so cute - the light orange tiles in the bathroom got me. Really recommend the crispy potatoes.
