Azar’s Mediterranean Specialties

Wow! It has been a few years since I've been and the food and the service were much, much better than I remembered!! Shared an appetizer and then had soup and wrap and soup and salad. Lentil soup was very hearty and the app was great!! The service was fantastic, quick and friendly! The baklava was great, too!!

GOOD is not what I'd use to describe Azar's! Off Bonney Rd and Prescott Ave.. down a dead ended road, looks like a storage facility at first glance, and no huge, flashing sign to draw attention to it. Compared to normal eateries, loud, slow service and lackadaisical attitudes by waitstaff... please, continue to frequent those places. While I, with family and friends enjoy a smaller seating area, carry-on conversations in normal voice, enjoy great service from the wait staff, served exceptional food that's hot, fresh, and served proudly with a smile! The appetizers are awesome, easily shared, the main course, shows up when you've finished them, as it should be. Your glass of water is topped off, your asked for a new drink, or can they get you something, without being obnoxious and/or cons

Authentic, local mediterranean gem! Long time local restaurant and goods. Must visit to appreciate the quality of authentic food. Pictured are the gyro platter, chicken tawook platter, stuffed grape leaves and a Taste of Azars appetizer.

We went for lunch last Monday and the restaurant was full at noon! That should tell you something. It's been a favorite lunch spot for us for several years now. The food is always very good, the service is fantastic and they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. I always comeaway with something from the shop too. My favorite is the gyro with fries.
