Moving reviews over from Yelp. Originally published 7/8/18: Between dinner and dessert, I remarked to the wife: "how is it that we've never been here before?" I'm really quite mystified by the fact that we've lived in STL for nearly 6 years now, love trying new places and almost all of our Yelp friends rave about this place in their reviews. Seriously, how have we never been to the place? I wanted a nice dinner out since the kids were both elsewhere. After a bunch of poking around on Yelp, we came up with this place. First impression was a little confusing - walk in, it seems like you're in a coat closet, spot the hostess stand, spin a tight 180 to get to the dining room...but then it makes sense. We were shown to one of the booths with the curtains on it but left them open. All the be
The drinks were absolutely delicious. Good food and good service, would highly reccomend.
We had a great experience here after having not been in roughly a decade. All of the dishes were delicious. Our server, Wendy, was kind and knowledgeable of the menu. Food came out in a very timely manner. We’ll gladly return! As many of the other recent reviews have noted, the busboy is very anxious to help and will refill your water before you even knew you needed it replenished. We found his eagerness to help rather endearing. 🤍
Excellent turkish food. I have never been to turkey but a friend of mine who spends a lot of time there says it's better than most places in Istanbul. I can't confirm that part but regardless of whether it's a good representation of Turkish food or not it tastes excellent. I have yet to try a dish there that I didn't enjoy, and I have been here a bunch of times.
This place must be totally different for the great dinner reviews it has. We went for brunch and were very disappointed. There was no skill for how to make an omelet. It was browned allover and drenched in cheddar cheese on the outside. The biscuit was greasy. The potatoes were ok but had no seasoning. Their ice tea was overpriced for how tasteless it was. They should stick to dinner!
