Axe to Grind

The atmosphere was really nice they were all decorated for the holiday. They have special events nightly. For $25.00, I got a very unique extremely flavorful chicken sandwich extremely crispy potato chips and a extremely large pretzel. The chicken sandwich was so extremely unique and flavorful. The chips were great. Unfortunately the pretzel is hard as a rock, the sauces that came with it we're really good. Maybe I'll try the pizza the next time I go in.

I stopped in today with my Dad and my boyfriend, we had phenomenal pizza with Axe to Grind today. The pizza was flavorful, it was cooked, it was fantastic. There is not a single thing I have to say that’s negative. These guys have it going on with their pizza. If you haven’t tried Axe to Grind’s Pizza in Hamlet you are missing out. We came from Wilmington today. Two hour drive each way. I’d do it all again to try another slice of pie!

On Mondays in Rockingham every restaurant is closed so I heard this place had great pizza so I called in my order. When I arrived my order was not ready yet but the employee’s and owner made me feel welcome until my order was ready. The pizza had a slightly sweet taste to it and was delicious 😋. I hope they have a turkey panini with cheese for lunch one day.

Axe to grind is a gem in the downtown Hamlet area. The food, drinks, prices, staff and atmosphere are all top notch. If you're looking for a solid pizza or a happy hour watering hole, look no further than Axe to grind.

Went to eat after a long day of out of town work. Sat and waited 45 mins on pizza. Just to be told they had to go to Walmart to get ingredients cause they just had a flurry of orders come in. We was the only ones in the place. And phones didn’t ring once. Rode back to rockingham to eat.
