A&W Restaurant

This fast-food restaurant is inside the Ted’s Travel Center along the southbound side of the I-15 at the Newberry Springs/Harvard Road, Exit 206. We stopped here on our way to Big Bear Lake to do a new geocache and decided to do a review on this place. The restaurant was not open at the time of our visit, but the nice lady (Leslie), let us take a quick look around the place. The restaurant was very clean and there are at least six, 4-person dining tables, a soda dispensing area and two order stations. The menu is clearly displayed with the prices directly behind the order stations and there is a drive-thru window on the north side of the building. Since the restaurant was not open at the time, we will not comment on the service or dining options – will update the next time we pass by.

Never been to this place A&W . It was ok nothing super spectacular but it was at a stop on our way to Las Vegas. Loved that they had diet root beer. I Ordered a chicken tender combo I thought it was a bit pricey 14.00 bucks but the tenders were freshly made they were good and thick white meat 😉 fries were not freshly made😒 So I had a combo with half fresh food with and a diet root beer!

The service was terrible. When my family went to this restaurant, we called for two double onion mushroom burger (#8, $8.99) and a combo meal for a Papa burger (#1, $9.49 without the combo). The cashier charged us the papa combo and two #1 burgers. Now, there was a $0.50 different between #1 and #8 for one burger, but we ordered two, making the total difference of $1. When we went to go ask the cashier about the order, he simply stated that he would give us the #8 burgers instead of the #1 burger, and that the price between the two were basically the same. (Keep in mind, the combo itself was fine, with no problems. Only the two burgers.) He then left. When we went to ask another worker, she gave us an attitude and just walked off while in the middle of the conversation. Honestly, it’s not

Very poor combo meal. For 11$ I expect at least something. Two very little chicken slides put in two broken sad and poor bun. Fries also very small and 🍟 cold. Definitely not recommend. A&W you should be ashamed putting this into a bag and serve it to customers at all. The result is not even close to the advertising pictures on counter. Tables are dirty and no refill for drinks. Feedback from the cashier „He’s sorry but that’s the way the meal is getting served“.

No price advertised on anything except when ordering food behind counter. But no price at all for snacks on shelves. I’ve NEVER seen this before. Who do they think they are?! So good that we don’t care how much we spend?!? Super arrogant…. No way I’m buying even just a bag of crisps just because of that.
