A&W Restaurant

We were passing through Sioux Falls and hit up my an A&W our buddy Ray wanted to stop at (again). It’s a KFC/A&W, I’ve never seen that combo before. The staff are friendly and really fast. I had an A1 combo (Papa Burger) and an order of Corn Dog nuggets on the side. The nuggets were new to me and I got them as a sharable item (I ended up eating most of them). The food was served hot and was assembled well. Definitely a great location to hit up on a road trip. Also the dining room was spotless, it looks recently renovated and had a cool retro vibe.

This place is awesome. My girlfriend and I have a habit of coming here every other, if not, every weekend, and not once have we had a single bad experience. The latest awesome customer service came from Devon, he was extremely courteous and polite, and overall professional. He gave me an even higher opinion of this place than we already had. And the food is fire every single time!

Weird interaction today, Noone was at the counter finally someone said they'll be over to help assist, told them we wanted the root beer floats that were free today, they took our order then disappeared. Someone else came over and said could I take your order. Tables were dirty so we didn't know where to sit, windows needs to be cleaned. Ceiling squares or tiles need to checked out, they look all stained and about to break atop someones head or table. This place needs alot of cleaning to do and upkeep.

Picked this up on the way home. Food was good, but a bit messy when unwrapped. The drive though was incredibly slow. Bored as I was, I was watching their screens from my vehicle and trying to understand them, I think their goal is to serve a vehicle in under 3 minutes. Their success rate was not looking too good if I was reading them right. Typically love this chain, I will have to give them another chance, maybe they were just having a bad day.

Thanks for keeping a positive spirit during my quick stop thru the window. Ordered a couple root beer floats and man were they delicious and nutritious. ✅
