A&W Restaurant

I haven’t had A & W in years. They were all over California where I am from. So I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed to say the least. First I want to say the french fries were hot and fresh out of the fryer but they had a coating like texture that I didn’t care for. Second the top bun of the cheeseburger was soaked with mayonnaise. The DoorDash app doesn’t have a place where you can edit the condiments for example “no mayo add ketchup” . Not everyone likes mayo and I am one of them! DoorDash needs to have an edit button for condiments. The best thing out of the combo was-the Diet Pepsi see photos of the receipt and food. I will not go back. They used be good in California many years ago. Also they didn’t add ketchup packets in the bag but they did add 3 packs of fry sauce. I h

Lunch with my Love at A&W was overall a wonderful experience. The food is absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked fresh AND came to our table hot. They had homemade onion rings which were fire, the single papa burger had a decent size smash patty, thick cut veggies and was a good size for a single, I could do the double in 1 sitting! Only reason I didn’t give all 5s was due to the facilities both being dirty. Owner was very friendly and let us know about a new weekend special on their chicken tenders AND gave me a mug! ( he gets a 5 as well!! 😊) We would absolutely go back and are this weekend. 😁 😊

Stopped for lunch. Bought the Coney Dog, Cheese Curds an Rootbeer! Served with a smile. Amazing customer service! I will DEFINITELY to continue coming and pass the word! Thank-you! Very satisfied.

Order a combo didn't get the fries. Ordered cheese curds with Papa's sauce got fry sauce. They changed the size of there drinks as well. Large is now medium, medium now small and small is now child size. The cili dog was like rubber the cheese tasted nothing like I ever tasted.

Very good people and it's kinda hard to mess up a coke float lol I especially advise the pup cups, my girls loved it
