A&W Restaurant

Was visiting family in the area. Used to LOVE this place growing up, but boy I must say it was looking a bit rough. Not sure if they are short staffed like many places, but seemed to be lacking in counter service and help cleaning things up. Everything looks like it needs a good cleaning. Floor was sticky. We wiped our own booth each time to have a place to sit. The wait time for food was quite a bit too each time we went. Food was okay. One day I’m guessing someone who was one of the owners was there; he was great at customer advice but just seemed overwhelmed unfortunately. Hopefully they get it figured out because there is a lot of nostalgia and community love for this place.

I love the retro look and music being played. The food was great and tasted very fresh. The fish was very tasty, the onion rings nice and crunchy and the shakes and floats where so good. I very much recommend coming not just for the great food but for that little slice of days gone by.

Really cool to see an old school A&W restaurant. All the new ones have no soul. It looks well steeped in the old look. Looked like at one time it might have been a car hop. It is dine in, walk up window and drive thru. The girl behind the counter was super nice and helpful. Had never been here before. I got two coneys with onion and mustard. The dogs were cooked perfect, the bun was steamed and the coney sauce was great! I also had fries and onion rings. The fries were crispy and so were the onion rings. Of course I got the root beer which was delicious. Do take the time to stop in. Good times.

Really cool basically antique A&A location. Walked inside and it was a very nice throwback. The lady at the counter was super nice and funny too. The food is hot and delicious. The bathroom was a little weird but still functional lol. The milkshake is delicious. I won’t be back here since I’m traveling through only, but it is still a very cool and genuine place to have a good lunch! Thank you!

The boy who took care of us shirt needs to be changed, staff was cursing, got a rootbeer float and filled up with root beer, found something floating in my cup and went to the counter, got another cup and same thing happened. Both of my drinks thrown away. They do not clean their pop nozzles!!! Disgusting!! Corn dog nuggets were overcooked and tenders were under cooked! Learn how to cook before serving the customers!
