Avenue Steaks & Pizza

Placing the order over the phone was fine. Picking the order up was fine too but when I got home the pizza looks crazy (old) and like it was reheated and it smelt burnt but the pizza was grease and the sauce is salty. This was my first time trying them. I wanna try there steaks but I’ll pass. The 3%surcharge for using a card also makes me not wanna return to try anything. CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT PAY COMPANY FEES.

Ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and pesto, it was burnt to a crisp. We ordered it as a pick up and unfortunately, when we arrived home, noticed it was burnt. We called and they guaranteed a refund for the burnt pizza which is why I am leaving it as a 2 star. Hopefully others have a better experience.

I drove from New York to Philly specifically because the portions here used to be huge and worth the price. Unfortunately, my experience on 3/1/2026 was completely different and extremely disappointing I ordered the Big Avenue cheesesteak and also a cheesesteak with extra meat (+$5.50) and paid the same price I did on 1/21/2026, but the portion was nearly half the size. The bread was harder, there was less sesame, and the meat texture looked different. I even compared it to photos from my January order — the difference is night and day. The January sandwich was nearly a foot long and packed with steak. The March sandwich looked closer to 6 inches total when the halves were put together. Been coming here for awhile with my son and have always enjoyed, unfortunately I stopped by saturday afternoon and ended up leaving a half hour later with no food. 2 cheesesteaks and and cheese fries. 20 minutes after ordering i was referred to by name and told order was getting finished up. Ten minutes after that I was told that the slip was lost. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

The cheesesteak personal pizza was DELICIOUS! I loved that they were open late so after our concert we had somewhere to eat. And the staff was super helpful and friendly.
