Avenue Diner

Had a nice lunch with my mom and husband. The service was good, but the food was just alright. My mom ordered the spanakopita for us all to share, it was tasty but very salty, which was the exact opposite of everything else we ordered. I found most of the items lacking not only salt, but seasoning in general. My husband tried ther beef pot pie, and also wasn't impressed. The top was more like a motza cracker and not a typical flaky pot pie. Dessert was better, the Italian pistachio cake was very good, but was imported and not made in house. Our server was attentive and never let our drinks go empty. But overall not sure if we'll be back.

My family and I went for breakfast, hands down best spot in the area. The atmosphere is very comfortable and homey. The staff was warm and welcoming.The food was absolutely delicious. I got the western omelet with a side of sausage. The three of us ate and were stuffed for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning for breakfast, and cant wait to try them for dinner. 10 out of 10.

My mother and I stopped in for breakfast. The staff was all very friendly, great service and delicious food. French toast was great. We will be back! Edit: I’ve been here multiple times since my first post. Food is consistently always hot and great flavor. My favorite diner around. Gyros are delicious here too!

The food is good, however, the hostess should be mindful not to gossip with other customers about how people dress their children, because sometimes those people you're talking poorly about are still in the building and can hear you just fine. If you have children, and want to eat and not be judged by someone who has no idea of your circumstances, I would recommend a different restaurant. We will not be returning.

We started eating at this Diner when it was named Oceanos and it is one our our favorite diners in the area. We've had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert at this location and it is always excellent. The owners are so sweet and welcoming and their staff is great as well. The dining area is clean, the tables and booths were recently updated and it is always nicely decorated (especially for the holidays). For lunch, I usually get the Chicken Italiano sandwich, but decided to try the Cajun chicken wrap. It was stuffed with beautifully seasoned Cajun chicken slices, lettuce, onions, tomato and cheese. It was served with a large portion of crispy fries, coleslaw, and pickle slices. I also tried a cup of their lobster bisque, which was thick, creamy, flavorful and filling. We love this place
