Avenue 209 Coffee House

It’s a cozy and large enough space to relax with coffee and bakery treats, albeit it’s slightly on the pricey end. The toppings for the coffee beverages are tasty and sweet, but they do charge extra for it, which isn’t so clear on the whiteboard advertising the flavors. Anyway, great spot to stop while visiting Lock Haven.

I wish I took more pictures when visiting but it was a really cozy place, plenty of seating, and just an overall great atmosphere. But that's not all. The menu options were extensive but not overwhelmingly so. Something for everyone. I got a hot thin mint latte in the morning. And the flavoring wasn't overpowering but just enough. The service was really friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the Almond Joy scones were delicious! Be sure to ask for it warmed up! I went back later just before closing to order an iced latte (Samoa this time) for the long drive tomorrow morning since I'm leaving before they open. Had a great chat with the baristas and they even gave me an extra shot for the road. Next time I'm back in town for work you can be sure I'll come by here again! Hands down recom

Best coffee in town...county...Central PA! Grab one to go or sit a spell and take some time to work, read, study, or chat with friends. Be sure to take home some fresh roasted beans or have it ground on site. You'll never buy coffee from chain stores again after you take home the smooth and flavorful international varieties available to you from Avenue 209!

Cool atmosphere. Pleasant counter customer service. Nice variety of drinks. Bagel was fine but cream cheese is provided in 2 tiny containers like a cheap hotel breakfast buffet. My mint frappuccino tasted nothing like mint but I still enjoyed it enough. The tables are topped with glass so everyone can display their own pieces of art.

Stopped here years ago....Tried to get a couple bagels and a Latte. Life's too short to have some stranger open my coffee to sniff it, then wait 15 minutes to not have 2 bagels put in a bag. You can keep the bagels, life's too short. DO BETTER!!!
