AV Restaurant

We have been to AV several times and it never disappoints. The food, the cocktails and the service are all phenomenal. My family and I all agree that AV is the best restaurant in Scranton!

Amazing service from the moment you walk in the door. Atmosphere was elegant and friendly. Food was so delicious we couldn't wait before we took pictures. Shame we waited so long to visit here, and we look forward to our next visit. The best experience!

We went here for our anniversary and I really enjoyed it. The food was great! The servers were fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect. The drinks were good too.

The service was excellent—our waitress Danny was friendly and attentivel. The burrata was hands down the best we’ve had—creamy, fresh, and crunchy pistachios on top. We also tried the chicken parmesan and the pork chop. The pork chop had a nice crunch on the outside, though we felt it could use a bit more seasoning inside. The Albariño white wine was a perfect pairing, it is not easy to find Spanish wine around.

We enjoyed some ghost stories with our dinner. The AV was rated Pennsylvania's most haunted restaurant by The Food Network. It was used as a temporary morgue during the 1918 influenza epidemic. I was wishing they still had a stretcher left in the basement to wheel me out of there after all the food we ate. The service and food were amazing. They really hit it out of the park with their pork chop and the salmon was fantastic.
