Austin's Burritos

We saw Austin's Burritos while going into Publix next door. The menu is basic but very flavorful. We tried the El Macho. This is a huge burrito made for two. Nicely made to order. When we measured ours it was 12" long and each half was about 530 grams. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Convenient parking in the lot with the Publix off of I-85 at Hamilton Mill.

I stopped by around 8:00 PM — the open sign was on, but the door was locked. It looked like a few employees and their friends were inside hanging out. When I tried to open the door, they just looked at me and laughed, instead of letting me know if the restaurant was closed or offering an explanation. It seemed like they decided to close early even though the posted hours said they were still open. Very unprofessional behavior and disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back unless management addresses this issue and makes sure staff follow proper closing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Surprisingly really good burritos” I tried this place for the first time and honestly didn’t expect much, but the food was way better than I thought it would be. The burrito was huge, fresh, and full of flavor. You can taste that everything’s cooked with real ingredients, not that frozen or prepped stuff a lot of places use. The chicken was juicy, the rice had good texture, and the salsa actually had flavor. The people working there were nice and seemed like they cared about what they were doing. The place itself is small and simple but clean and comfortable. It feels local in a good way. The portions are big and the prices are fair. You definitely get your money’s worth. Dynamite food everyone clean their plates even my picky five-year-old. Small shop no music but excellent food. Highly recommend!

Steak flavor awesome, corn was a nice touch, rice undercooked and crunchy, NO beans, nice crisp lettuce, and salsa has decent flavor. Granted I did go in between meals at 3pm on a Saturday, so that’s probably why no beans and undercooked rice.
