Austin's at Serenbe

This was my first time at Austin’s and when I say this place was nothing short of AMAZING that’s exactly what I mean. The staff was great from the beginning of the door. We were greeted with a friendly host and shown right to our seats at the bar. Even got a little assisted push when I couldn’t scoot the chair forward lol. The food was delicious! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. They gave amazing suggestions that turned out to be life changing (The CABBAGE) I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing evening. MVP’s for this experience truly go out to Clay, Keeana and a gentleman server who’s name I don’t quiet catch. Overall I will be back and be a new regular!

Just spent our 4 year anniversary here to catch the Jazz show & Cocktails. It was absolutely lovely, Joe greeted us by name as we entered, moved us to a more comfortable booth that was available. The drinks were perfect. 👌. The trout & the pork belly absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and flavored to top tier. The service was excellent, polite and attentive. The performance of the female jazz vocalist & her guitarist created a pleasant sexy atmosphere that had us not wanting to leave. Perfect date night, wonderful experience we will definitely be back & add this spot to our rotation of secret spots.

Went for a Saturday night dinner when they have Jazz night from 9-11. Made a reservation for 8:45. It’s a small restaurant and a table was not available until almost 9:15. Nothing offered other than apologies. There were only two servers available for the entire restaurant of about 15-16 tables. Needless to say, service was unbelievably slow even though they were both doing their best to handle that many tables. The kitchen was equally slow. We ordered a charcuterie board as an app hoping it would come out quick as it was late and we were hungry. It took almost 30 minutes. This was a birthday dinner which I noted in the reservation notes. Despite the incredible amount of time it took to get a table, and then for food to come out, they still charged us for a dessert. This was hands down some of the best food I've had, for sure in Georgia, but maybe anywhere actually. Service is slow- we were there for an hour before our oysters came out, but once all our dishes came out, they came out in a steady stream. Drinks were exceptional- the short rib and the lobster were standouts and an absolute must have. Would definitely come back, but will be conscious to leave ample time. Note also that portions (a la carte) are still kind of small so you will need to order accordingly. The food however- truly remarkable and noteworthy.

A very necessary and truly deserved round of commotion for Austin’s dinner line-up 👏🏽 Would def recommend their 5-course Chef Prefixe menu. The options are plentiful and the food is truly amazing. Every dish was 5-stars. Friendly team and great ambiance.
