Customer Reviews
I love Aurelio’s. Been a fan for a long time. But this is the second time this has happened. I got a 13$ order of calamari and they gave me almost as many lemon slices as they did pieces of calamari. Stop gyppin me! I’m a loyal Aurelio’s customer! Also it’s getting a little too expensive
I think Aurelio's has to be my favorite pizza in Chicagoland. There's tons of choices in the city and the suburbs for great pizza but I think that Aurelio's takes the cake. The thin crust is always perfectly cooked, cut tavern style, with just enough sauce, and just enough cheese. We normally get a thin crust with sausage and giardinera and will eat the whole large pizza between two people. The restaurant in Addison is never too busy, even on the weekends. We've never had to wait for a table, there's never been a line, and there is tons of parking. The pizzas come out quicker than you would think too. Nothing beats sitting down, having a couple of beers, and eating some of the best pizza Chicago has to offer.
Found hair in an appetizer and then later, the pizza. We brought it to the manager’s attention very politely, explaining that we normally don’t complain and didn’t even feel comfortable bringing it up. Instead of listening, the manager immediately argued that it wasn’t hair and claimed it was cheese, even interrupting us multiple times. He also mentioned the previous poppers had already been taken off our bill, rather than focusing on the issue itself. We weren’t asking for any kind of refund or discount, we were simply bringing it to his attention. A good owner/manager acknowledges concerns and offers an apology. His attitude caught us all off guard and deeply disappointed us. After reading other reviews, it seems this defensive response to customer complaints is a pattern. To the owner
Food came quick and staff are friendly, casual atmosphere. Came here on a recommendation for pizza but tried the lasagna and original sub instead. I’m sorry to say that neither tasted very good. The flavor and freshness was off, it was hard to finish. Maybe I’ll give the pizza a try as recommended but my hopes aren’t high.
Incredible pizza and incredible service! Just stopped in and got to meet the owner himself! Such friendly people here !
