Auntie Kim's Pound Cakes

I recently attended an event at Auntie Kim's and I was amazed! She had an event where we learned about the cakes, got to decorate and paired the different flavors with different wines. It was a blast! And Kim and her crew were so knowledgeable, fun, friendly, and wow-she is such an incredible baker! These cakes are truly DELISH. I bought a cinnamon pound cake to go and it was gone in two days. You must visit this place! Great people and great cakes!

I had an amazing time at Auntie Kim’s bakery trying all the different flavors. She is an amazing teacher and her pound cake class was so worth it. Can’t wait to share with my family and friends.

There are so many yummy flavors and my favorites have to be Butter Pecan and Lemon Up. I was beyond impressed with the Butter Pecan flavor I had. I ate it all! Whether you get one for yourself or your next office party, you and your colleagues won’t be disappointed.

I bought 2 pound cakes for our New Year’s eve celebration. I bought the classic and the brownie. I paid $85 and some change for both. The service was phenomenal. I was disappointed with the pound cakes that I bought, especially the classic. They were both dry, extremely dense and the classic did not have much of a flavor. It was bland and needed a lot of dressing up with berries, strawberry purée, and whipped cream. The brownie cake was a little bit better, had a good flavor but nevertheless dry. Needless to say, they were not a hit. Most people did not finish their plates and I had leftover cake that went to waste unfortunately.
