Aunt Millie's Dayton Sales Branch

This fell out of a book and instantly took me back. I remember when our Saturday family trips every two weeks were to the Bakery Outlet in Dayton. Our family got to know the sweet ladies who worked there, and I loved chatting with the other regulars who came in too. I still miss that place. Every time I pass by, I can’t help but smile, because it always brings back such warm memories. 🤎😊

The outlet of the bakery is no longer available. it was discontinued 3 years ago. This is not a review of the food or service. No Outlet store.

Have been buying here for years. You hit good days and bad days here. The store is quite a mess sometimes. Other times it is more in order. Older gentleman working there a little more friendly than some. That is never a stable situation. Shop here at your own risk. It is in a very troubled neighborhood. You are taking a risk shopping here. I found a great bread deal on their new bread loaf called Net 1. It sells for $5 in the reg store. It sells for 89 cents at this outlet. Great deal for me.

Love going here. Bread is just as good as supermarket at 1/3 the price. Got 2 loaves of aunt Millie's for $.89 compared to $2.89 at Walmart.

A depot/thrift store. Thrift bread, buns and rolls are all priced at about $1. Also you can buy bulk animal feed (bread) for very low prices. The depot sends out trucks to service stores restaurants and events although you could buy fresh bread you would have to call ahead for pricing and availability.
