Amazing experience from start to finish. The service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The food was outstanding, with perfectly balanced seasoning and true comfort food vibes. The fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp was creamy, flavorful, and cooked just right, while the oxtail rice was rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. Both dishes were incredibly well prepared and made us want to keep eating even after we were full. Definitely a place I would come back to and confidently recommend to anyone looking for great food and great service.
I was really disappointed with my experience. I waited 30 minutes for my food, and there was only one other person in the entire restaurant. Her order had been placed before I even arrived, Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The green beans had far too much vinegar and were extremely tangy. The sweet potatoes were also not to my liking, it tasted like pimento seeds had been added, which threw off the flavor. As for the ribs, they were actually pretty tough and definitely not falling off the bone like they advertise. The flavor was good, but the texture was disappointing. The only positive part of the experience was that the ladies working there were very nice. Overall, the meal just wasn’t worth the $40 I spent, and I probably won’t be returning.
I paid $34 for a meal a dessert with no drink ! the lady at the front desk was nice. However the food is not good AT ALL me an two of my coworkers literally just left and we waited for about 30 minutes for food that was not good or fresh all 3 of our meals was not good and the lady that took our order kelp telling us that we were gonna get a lot of food for the price and that’s not true!. I would not recommend this place. It’s a nice space but wouldn’t go.. One last thing.. She has a lot of candles and stuff busning which is super strong smell had to keep stepping outside until our food was ready
Let me tell you… if you’ve been craving food that feels like a warm hug, Aunt Betty’s Halal Soul Food delivers exactly that. You walk in and immediately feel like you’re about to eat at somebody’s house—not just any house, but that auntie who knows how to cook. First off, the food… listen. Everything tastes like it was made with intention. The flavors are rich, seasoned just right—not too heavy, not too bland, just that perfect balance that makes you want to go back for another bite even when you’re already full. You can tell they’re not cutting corners here. It’s real, soulful cooking. Let’s talk about the portions for a second… they do not play about serving size. You’re definitely getting your money’s worth. This is the kind of place where you might say, “I’ll just eat half,” and end
I was really excited to visit Aunt Betty’s because I heard the beef ribs and crab dip were both phenomenal. We arrived and there was plenty of parking. When we entered the building,, we were greeted by a colorful mural, and a long wait, as the lone waitress was helping the only other people on the restaurant side. After about 10 minutes we were greeted, she thanked us for our patience and apologized for the wait. We ordered our food, and it took about 25 minutes for the crab dip to arrive, and it was DELICIOUS! Sadly, we basically had to eat it with chip fragments, like the pieces from the bottom of a bag. After about 45 minutes, I watched the the table receive the most delicious looking ribs. Sadly, the waitress returned to my table to advise me that those were the last of the beef ribs,
