Augusta Department of Public Safety

Knowing the Augusta PD they will find some way to censor this. That being said my experience with them was only good one time. My Mom was a dispatcher there for years and when she passed they cared enough to send some guys to her service. Other than that they are complete and total unprofessional jerks! I would not trust them to pick up a dog, let alone have Comptence to help in crisis. Call someone else! Anyone will do better! The local vet cares more and is more professional by far! I hate that I had to choose one star!

I've came back to Augusta for 2 of my nephews high school graduations and both times, leaving the parking lot of the high school has been a huge mess. I dont know why this police department hasn't thought to direct the traffic out of the lot so it's safe and timely for everyone but apparently that's to much to ask of them. It makes me appreciate my local police several states away that will even direct traffic out of church parking lots every Sunday to make sure everyone can come and go as safely as possible.

"Your court hearing is at 2pm" Two hours later people are still waiting in the hallway. So no judge? No zoom? No answers? People have work and children and important things to do. The court appointed attorney seems like he's trying, but how could the courthouse be this unorganized and so unprofessional. Imagine if this happened in another business establishment and how people would react.

legit service dogs cant show aggression at all. that dog attacked a little boy's face and sent him to the ER a year prior to that incident. had a history of attacking neighbors and pets. it wasn't a legit service dog. the situation has been blown out of proportion and dishonest/sloppy reporting played a huge part in it.

Killed the veteran's companion, bad enough. Telling citizens not to gather to protest is despicable. Do you wonder why public opinion of police is at an all time low?
