August Moon Chinese Restaurant

Finally!!! I am so glad I found an amazing Chinese food restaurant in Washington. Being from the east coast, I grew up on NY style Chinese food. August Moon is exactly what I’ve been looking for for 3 years since moving here. It is hard to find good egg foo young and they cooked it to perfection. I also got the General Tso chicken, and combination fried rice. I was so impressed. I would highly recommend trying checking this place out. The freshness if the food, quality, and seasoning was on point. Hands done my new go-to for Chinese food from now on!

We were hungry after swimming at Pine Lake. We got the almond fried chicken which is one of my favorites growing up and it feels so special sharing this meal with my youngest son and they made it to perfection. Our host was so sweet and nice and our food came out warm and delicious. We will be back. The Long Island Tea is perfect. Great for a hot day. Thank you.

This place is so good. I got the August Moon meal it was like 24 bucks but it came with sweet and sour shrimp and Mongolian beef with rice and wonton soup. It was so freaking good. I ate every single thing on the plate. Plus the lady that was waitressing was so friendly. This place is five stars all day long. You can tell that the food was made with love. It was hot and so tender. The Mongolian beef is the best I've ever had. Every single piece was so tender

From old to new owners, this is our go to neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Even during COVID, they were the only ones who’s home delivery of cooked dishes came like it was served at the table. Tonight’s was no different, the sesame chicken was crisp and sizzling and each dish hot and tasty. Ordering has been easy with polite and courteous customer service and delivery came sooner than anticipated. We love to order the sesame chicken, cashew chicken, combo fried rice, chow mein, and hot n spicy soup plus the cream cheese wontons. But have always loved many options from their menu. Highly recommend!

The lack of quality does not warrant the price. The fried meat barely contained any meat and was primarily fried seasoning. The flavor was subpar and tasted nothing like any other Asian restaurants I've had before. To top it off, we didn't feel well shortly after eating. The low health department score should have been a warning. Save your money and go to Panda Express. For 50% less money you get objectively better tasting food.
