Go and get your homemade pastries from Au Contraire in Freeman, Mo. Her address is not correct on Google, but she's trying to get that fixed. 27603 S State Route 2, Freeman, Mo Gail is so talented with what she can do with the designs of her bread. She's also one of the sweetest ladies out there! I stopped in there today and picked up a couple of pumpkin scones, a cinnamon roll, and that yummy lemon poppy seed skull cake! WOW!🤤 So good! Wished I hadn't waited so long to get there! I missed out on the other pastries she had the other day!!

All of the baked goods are delicious. I special ordered rosemary garlic dinner rolls for a party. I ordered again for Easter dinner. They were a delicious. I used the leftovers for sliders and breakfast sandwiches. The cinnamon rolls are tasty. The galette was heavenly. Well worth the 20 minute drive. Gail and John are so friendly and informative.

Kind staff, amazing products, convenient location for rural folks. I only wish their hours matched mine more closely so I could go more often

As a dad sent on a breakfast mission to satisfy 2 small children, my wife, and myself, this local bakery was an absolute crowd pleaser. The sourdough cinnamon rolls, various galettes, and sausage kolaches disappeared about as quickly as I pulled them from their bags. We will definitely be back and recommend others check them out!

We got most of the items and everything was amazing! It’s nice to have a nice bakery in town. We will be back!
