I was at this small Japanese sushi place a few months ago for lunch. The interior is a bit different than the usual sushi place, being downstairs within a large office building, and I believe they own the nice-looking coffee and tea place next door, which I will try another day. They are reasonably priced for the quality, and the service was very friendly, whether from the waitress or the various chefs. A handful of others were having the "Atto Style," a $50 mini-lunch omakase with a miso soup or salad, followed by 10 pieces of deluxe sushi. However, as I had to go back to work, I went with the more casual Hachi, where, aside from the obligatory salad or soup at the beginning, all eight pieces are on the same plate along with the roll of the day. The first thing that arrived was the miso
Very good experience lunch and good price $50 for 10 course . I had a wonderful time at Atto Sushi! The staff was so kind and welcoming . Every course was delicious and the pieces of fish were absolutely high quality. Not to mention it filled me up which I personally love when it comes to omakases. My favorite is dry-aging Tuna. This place is one of my favorites and I will definitely be coming here again!
One of the best sushi in NY. Sara was attentive and very professional. Everything was very fresh and it's a GREAT price to portion ratio. If you are between this place or another, pick this one!!!!!!! P.s. We had: Sushi sashimi set, and a few a la carte dishes. For 2 is more than enough!
This omakase experience was so cozy, and we are glad we got to enjoy it here! 😋 The atmosphere was relaxed, and the sushi was fresh. The appetizers and dessert didn’t disappoint, either. Would recommend :)
The serving lady was very kind – offered to pour a variety of sweet and dry sake for us to taste before we ordered. I am not proficient with chopsticks, and she got me a training clip without my asking for one. I am also not a sushi expert, but the food was very good and my companion, who knows his way around Japanese food, enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere was calm for a weekday lunch in midtown. I can’t wait to go again.
