Atmore Real Reggae Kitchen

We just picked our food up about 30 minutes ago and once we started digging in we were hooked!! The oxtails melt in your mouth, everything is seasoned very well and the price was well worth the amount of food you receive. Both the man and woman there were so sweet and we can’t wait to come back. I’ll be dreaming about those oxtails tonight😂

I ate the jerk chicken plate.The chicken tasted pretty good,but definitely not enough for the money. I also got the hamburger and fries. It was also okay too.

What a wonderful surprise to find in Atmore! We ordered the oxtail and the jerk chicken, and I highly recommend letting the proprietress guide you on the sides — she knows exactly what she’s doing. If you’ve never had oxtail, imagine a slow-simmered roast in rich brown gravy — that’s the flavor and tenderness you’re getting here. With the oxtail, we had yellow rice and potato salad.With the jerk chicken (which is flavorful but not spicy unless you ask), she paired red beans & rice and cabbage. Every bite was absolutely delicious. The meats were outstanding, and our favorite sides were the red beans & rice and the cabbage — both were incredible. This was my family’s first time trying this style of food, and they cleaned their plates. That alone says everything.Next on our list: the curried

What a delightful find! Though located in an old burger shack, don't sleep on this place. I gave it a try while in town for a few days, and went back. Both the curry chicken and the oxtail were exceptional. As good as any I've ever had. Very healthy portions, and fast takeout, too. Only about five minutes. Nice people who own/work there, too. Top notch little find!

The food is delicious! Served hot and fresh and very tasty. Cooked to perfection. I most definitely will be a return return customer. The Karaoke is a great added touch. Come and enjoy the food and fun.
