Atlantis Diner

Atlantis Diner is special to my family and I because we've been going there since I was a young boy and continue going to this day... 1. The Food - For diner food, I must say it has to be of the upper echelon... The taste just jumps out and grabs you, making you crave the next bite more and more as you keep eating (in my opinion), especially when you order my personal favorite: Chicken Piccata!! 😋 2. Service: - One of the most memorable parts of this diner is the staff, no doubt!! 🤣 They are not only friendly, but will treat you like their friend, ESPECIALLY if you know 'em like we do! They are just hilarious.. 3. Atmosphere: - This is one of those diners where people will begin to know you by name, and yell your name as soon as they see you walk in the door!! We came on a Friday night around 930pm with a party of eight. We had just left a funeral & were seated promptly due to the fact the restaurant was pretty empty..The server greeted us with the word "Drinks",with no other greeting..I'm not fully sure he spoke full English..Our drinks were never refilled & we waited over half an hour for mediocre food. The sever seemed dis organized in the delivery of truthfully our drinks & food..The only part that was enjoyable were the Pancakes..

A Diner is like a Restaurant but better, right? Yep you can get anything you want at a diner, from eggs to shrimp francese to a Greek salad to pancakes... lts amazing how a diner could make all this, such a variety but it has to affect the quality though imo. Hence one less star for the prices on the menus (see pic's), "restaurant prices" are just too much for a "diner", imo. However the burger was made quite good, and charred nicely! The matzo ball soup (best value) was loaded up with two matzo balls, chicken, noodles veggies. Our serve (Junior) was extra special. He was pleasant and made sure our food was as we ordered. This makes everything more enjoyable, all servers should be as kind! Ty.

It’s very nice diner we just were unlucky to be seated next to a large table of family with kids who were watching YouTube on full mode. Our waiter was super tired and not helpful at all. (Didn’t mention that one of the dish is coming on a hot plate even though we came with a little kid) also when I asked if my dish comes with french fries he said yes but it didn’t.

We made reservations and had 7 people in total (family and friends). Staff were nice enough to mix 2 tables into one so we can all fit and be comfortable. Took our orders quickly and food didn’t take too long to arrive. Oreo milkshake tasted good, my meal was alright.
