Athos Restaurant

My wife and I went to Athos for Valentines day. The place waa packed but the staff waa doing their best to get everyone seated and fed. Our appetizer to start was the flaming cheese (saganaki) and you can get either Cognac or Ouzo in. My wife and I chose Ouzo for more authentic Greek flavor. The cheese is served with pitas and is just so good highly recommend you get it if you go. For our entrees I got the Beef Souvlaki which was filet mignon with rice pilaf, and a salad. My wife got the vegetarian platter. I got to try some of the platter and it was good as well. Overall a great date night for my wife and I for Valentines day. The wait time was a little long but the owner was so nice and comped our meal for us

Normally I don't go under 3 stars due the negative effect on rating, but can't overlook the issues due the fact that food it's overpriced. I like Middle East cuisine, so Ive visited many restaurants. This supposed to be "etiquette" restaurant. Woman Restroom needs attention. The lamb meat was chewy (lamb meat has this issue, needs to be cooked with technique). 3 little Greek Baklava $12, $4 each. It is too much. Regular price is $2 each. I felt robbed. I paid $169 per appetizer, 1 entrance. 2 dinners, 1 cocktail, 1 seltzer water bottle, 1 dessert. I truly expected a decent restroom and a nice meal. Not coming back.

Loved this place! The whole grilled fish, cocktails, and fried zuchinni are delicious! And you get a good amount of food for the cost. We can't wait to come back.

The food was so delicious that I forgot to take photos. I only took one picture. I really liked the moussaka. The appetizer platter was also very good. It is a nice place to sit for a long time and have a good conversation. I will definitely come again. Thanks to the whole team! 😊

Tried Kolokithakia. Amazing crispy Zucchini chips. Along with Vegetarian Penne Pasta. And a strong Turkish Coffee to conclude. This is a good Greek Restaurant in town. Good service as well.
