Athena Greek Restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this restaurant was open mid afternoon when I was famished from sitting in a doctor’s office for a couple of hours. I got a gyros sandwich and tabouli and a drink for just under $11. The sandwich was delicious, and the salad was a generous portion. I did notice that my food was very salty. I hope they don’t add any more salt. The exterior of this strip mall is shabby. The restaurant owners have created a tidy and welcoming atmosphere. I did not mind eating there alone.

This is an absolutely fantastic Greek restaurant. They have a simple menu, which made things go very quickly! The lady working behind the counter was easy to get along with and you could tell she took pride in her Greek food! It seemed as most of the business was takeout regulars, it would be a great choice for a quick take out meal. The prices were extremely affordable for a good portion of food. They carried Coca-Cola products. The food came out in under then minutes, while she was able to take three orders; very good customer service! Once I got my platter it was filled with delicious gyro meat with the perfect tzatziki sauce. The salad was very fresh, and had a great dressing on it. The French fries were very good also, but I was stuffed by everything else I barely managed to get down

I recently dined at Athena Greek Restaurant and had the gyros dinner, and it was absolutely delicious! The gyros were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with a generous portion of meat served with pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and a side of Greek salad. The atmosphere at Athena Greek Restaurant was warm and inviting, with a charming Greek decor. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. In addition to the gyros, I also tried some of their other menu items and they were all fantastic. The restaurant offers a great selection of authentic Greek dishes that are sure to please any palate. I love this place. If you’re thinking about trying it you need to and you will thank me later. Support your local businesses! I have been for a long time. Athena’s is the best. I added the menu for updating. She has transformed her restaurant and it looks amazing. Keep up the great work and food! ♥️ I recommend the gyro supreme one of my favorites. But also try the hamburger you will be surprised of how freshly made they are! And I also, recommend the chicken kabob plate juicy tender chicken. You will not be disappointed. 🙂

I haven't been this happy for Greek food since I left Nashville. There wasn't a single thing on my plate I didn't love, the kabobs, salad, pita and sauce were all excellent.
