Had a good meal here. Everything tasted authentic and came out hot. Portions were not very big except for the squid (this was the best dish which unfortunately I didn't get to take a photo of). Bulgogi was decent as was the soondubu. The #18 SamGyupSal was a disappointment and the worst dish we ordered. Thinly sliced pork that came with a few pieces of lettuce. Bibimbab was average. The service was very good- efficient and super friendly. Hot barley tea was much appreciated for chilly night. Bathrooms are super clean. A nice place to grab some Korean food.
Good authentic Korean food. All the staff are native Koreans, it's the real deal.
The food was very authentic, high quality, and very good. The dumplings are easily some of the best i have had anywhere. The decor and ambience is beautiful and very quiet. Not usually too busy. The dining room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Some of the food was a little too spicy for my taste but that is pretty true to form for a lot of Korean dishes. Portion size for the price is very good.
AUTHENTIC KOREAN. Amazing food & very kind server we had today. This is the BEST Pork Bulgogi I’ve had in the STL area so far, the seafood pancake was awesome (cooked perfectly), and the kimchi was just right. Highly recommend! Be patient, I’m not sure if service was slower because of holidays or if they usually have little staff but the wait is worth it!!
Overall we were impressed with this place. We would definitely recommend the Japchae to everyone as that was very very good. The traditional Korean side dishes that came with everything also were all very good. The Yukgaejang was also good and is worth a try if you are looking for a soup. We also tried the Mool Mandu and DukBokki. We weren't very impressed with either of these and would pass on them in the future.
