We frequent this restaurant often and usually order off the menu, which we enjoy. This visit, we were in a hurry and ordered a pint of chicken salad for a quick lunch. The chicken salad itself was $13, which is fine but when we asked for crackers to go with it, we were told they were an additional charge. When asked how many crackers we wanted, I replied “enough for the bowl,” and was informed that 8 crackers would cost $1.00. While $1.00 doesn’t sound unreasonable on its own, it felt disappointing to pay extra for something that’s essentially necessary to eat a $13 container of chicken salad. You just can't beat Ashley Mac's Kitchen at the Valleydale Rd location. The staff are top notch. The kitchen workers know their way around the food. Delicious sandwiches and entrees. Location is super clean and welcoming. Can't say enough great things. A+++++++. Make it a point to stop in and get some amazing food if you are ever in the Inverness area.
