Asaka isn’t loud or showy; it’s the kind of place where the food speaks quietly but confidently. Everything feels intentional, from the plating of the dishes to how each flavor hits your palate. We started with the Crispy Gyoza, which arrived hot, perfectly browned, and light. The filling had just the right amount of seasoning, standing out beautifully, and the ponzu sauce added a refreshing citrus punch that tied everything together. Next came the Spicy Tuna Tartare, which was smooth and well-balanced. The fresh tuna was finely diced and mixed with just enough chili mayo to provide a gentle kick without overpowering its natural flavor. The sushi restaurant is amazing. The fish is fresh where it needs to be and aged properly where it needs to be as well. Best tuna I’ve had in ages. Appetizers are great, and tempura is pretty good. Generally, I prefer a Panko tempura and they don’t use it but given that they don’t, it’s amazing.

Great food and the potential for a great atmosphere too, but the electronics hold it back. The hotate yaki (baked scallop and crab) was the surprise star of the dinner, the maki rolls were all really good, and the scallion pancakes were the best I’ve had in the area. Unfortunately, there was a loud online ordering system chiming, and there was a TV playing the news — unmuted! If they turn those off, this will be a 5 star restaurant.

The food was delicious and the space is very cozy. I don’t like yakisoba with all the vegetables but they promptly responded to my request and did exactly what I asked for. The prices are very fair too. I totally recommend it!

Only one waiter.. service was slow but not bad! Sushi was good, ramen was good. Overall not bad, not what I was expecting for a restaurant, as it is pretty small inside, reminded me of sub/pizza shop. No complaints, drink service took a while and so did sushi and the restaurant was pretty empty
