after reading the good reviews here I decided to give this restaurant a shot - and it was well worth it! food was amazing - all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. we wanted to try a bit of everything and ended up not being able to decide what we loved the most! the atmosphere in Asahi is very cozy and pleasant and staff were super polite and helpful. we'll go back, for sure!

i love how clean tasting the sushi is. very good quality, fresh, and good flavors. the atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful and the restaurant is very clean. the staff is very friendly and nice too. i’ll definitely be coming back regularly. the restaurant is located in a little courtyard-like area and i can’t wait to sit outside on the benches after eating when the weather is nice.

This restaurant never fails to impress. The mochi ice cream we finished with was a total showstopper—as beautiful as it was delicious. You absolutely must try it.

We had an awesome experience at Asahi! I visited with my wife and our son, and the experience was great for all of us. The food was fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. My wife doesn’t eat fish, but she was pleasantly surprised by the variety of great vegetarian and vegetable options, which she really enjoyed. On top of that, the portion sizes for the price were outstanding — easily a 10/10 on value. Highly recommend this place for both sushi lovers and vegetarians alike!

The food in this restaurant is incredibly delicious! We visited Washington DC for five days, and we came here six times. You should try dessert too. My family had a really happy time here.
