These are by far the best Carne Asada fries I’ve ever had! These young ladies here actually pour love in to making food! I thank you both 😉
I’m from Tennessee and wasn’t sure about this place when my husband pulled up to it. But they were cooking the meat outside and it smelled so good—it immediately changed my mind! We both ordered California burritos and they were ginormous and oh so delicious! The meat was flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were more than generous. Definitely a hidden gem—we’ll be coming back next time we’re in town! Update: We came back through before flying out and grabbed a breakfast burrito! So delish and everyone is very friendly. Love some fab Mexican food!!
Im soooo disappointed. I ordered 2 California burritos. While they were big and the meat was flavorful, it was filled with so much fatty meat and hard parts of the meat that are not meant to be eaten. They didn't even bother to take that stuff out. That was so gross to bite into either a hard piece or something gooey and slimey. The fries were undercooked to the point that they almost seemed raw. I literally just picked through my burritos. And I didn't even get a jalapeño. You gotta do better.
My husband and I stopped in on a very quick trip through Phoenix. We were welcomed warmly. We got the whole grilled chicken meal which came with rice, beans, tortillas, salsa, two grilled jalapeños and grilled cebollitas. The seasoning for the chicken was spot on. The chicken was cut in front of us for easier eating. We ate under their canopy and they provided plates and cutlery. We asked advice about where to go shopping and had a great chat with the friendly staff. If you don’t mind a bit of rustic but authentic Mexican food (I’m Mexican) I Really recommend it!!!
I wanted to like this place so bad but I didn’t. At all. I got 3 tamales. 1 beef and 1 chicken for myself and a pork one for my coworker. First off, I’m not sure which of the two of mine was chicken because neither looked like chicken, usually that would be fine but I don’t eat pork so I find it highly offensive when I don’t get my pork free food. One of the tamales was so old, it was too hard to break off with a fork. The other one had no flavor whatsoever. Tasted like tap water. I might try their other food but never the tamales again.
