Around The Table

Placed order online to pickup. Some of the food was not hot and or did not taste freshly cooked. 3 months prior, my review was: Food was excellent, service was good and lady owner sang happy birthday to my niece. We arrived and were seated immediately. Two in my family did not like the pork chops, said it was not seasoned and or tasted bland. One asked for the baked chicken instead and enjoyed the baked chicken. Leaving this in the review with the hope and confidence that the pork chops will improve over time. We received our appetizers and one starters first, children had their food immediately after appetizers were served, entrees and then sides were delivered separately and after the entrees were served. As soon as you come through the door, you receive a beautiful greeting! Love that! Now, about the food…all I can say is delicious!! It was seasoned…no salt or pepper was needed! The portions were generous. The servers are all so kind and they make you feel welcomed. We will return when in the area.

I ordered their chicken-fried shrimp(crispy and finger lickin’), cornbread, spoon bread (first time try for me, it was amazing), fries, and slaw (better than KFC’s!!) and it was served by friendly staff (sorry dear I am terrible with names!) and even the owner herself stopped by our table and thanked us for coming. 10/10 I will definitely come back Around the Table to

First time dining here. Super friendly staff. The food arrived quickly despite being pretty busy on a Saturday evening. The fried porkchops (2) were very good. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and delicious as were the collards. I ate half and brought the rest home for another meal. Will definitely go back.
