I started early hoping to avoid crowds, free parking at the trailhead. After the hike down to the pools, there were already people soaking in the hot pools early in the morning. Expect nudity. Moderate hike down the the pools and river. I really enjoyed wading through the pools and in the running water below the pools. The water in the Colorado was cold and very clear. There are bathrooms at the end of the trail by the river. Many people come to the hot springs via the river, expect it to be crowded from mid morning on.
