The food was INCREDIBLE AND SO TASTY! I haven’t had an empanada safe for me with celiac disease in years! So crispy and fluffy and full of flavor! And the Arepas!! Sooooo good!

I normally don't leave bad reviews... but this one is a must.. I have celiac disease and I came to this restaurant based on they claim most things are gluten free. I ordered and verified with the waitress that everything cooked was separate and clean... A few bites Into my meal she comes out at says its all cooked in the same food oil.. Needless to say it ruined my weekend with getting glutened because of this claims and miss information. The restaurant throws out gluten free like a buzz word, with no care for the actually meaning. If this was a peanut allergy I would be in the hospital. Careless! Im sure its a fine restaurant if you have no allergies or celiac, but do not come here if you do... Nothing like tripple checking and still getting sick!

Arempas midvale is one of my favorite places to eat. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. It’s more convenient than the downtown location and I think the food typically is a little fresher. I also love that nearly the entire menu is gluten-free. I recommend it to everyone I know.
