Arby's

My friend lives in Deland and we went to this location today for lunch before we went shopping. Arby’s menu is affordable for seniors. Dawn’s customer service is awesome. The rest of the team was very friendly. Restaurant is extremely clean.The food was excellent. We will definitely make another trip back here next time I visit. Keep up the good work!

I remember kind of liking Arby’s when I was a kid, and now I’m left wondering if the quality has gone downhill or if I was just a dumb kid. I ordered one of their new cheesesteaks, a couple beef & cheese sliders, and a chicken wrap, and it was basically all awful. The cheesesteak was the highlight, as it didn’t taste bad, though it was pretty skimpy on meat and the bread wasn’t great, but at least it had a decent cheesiness. The beef & cheese sliders were super tiny and completely flavorless. For a place that advertises its roast beef as its flagship item, the roast beef on my sliders should be personally embarrassing to them, because it was just dry, brown, crap. This is the first place we found that actually serves fresh HOT french fries no matter what time you come in. We ate at this location twice...late dinner and lunch, both times the french fries were hot.

I hate to complain but once again find myself in the position of “should I be that guy” and complain or what?! I don’t care to go in and complain I just wouldn’t eat here again and by all means if you do decide to eat here… please look at your $12 turkey sandwich before shoving it in your mouth. I knew two of the previous managers and I promise you neither of them would let this stand.

We stopped here for a bite to eat after visiting the Sanford zoo. The food was hot. The fries were hot. The service was good. The place was clean. Forgot to take any photos.
