Applewood Kitchen and Bar

We are local and this was our first visit. We had the Japanese chicken and the Chicken Nachos for an appetizer. Both were delicious and the nachos were huge!! We will split one the next time we get them. Drink menu is well thought out and their alcohol inventory has many of the best of everything. Craft cocktails were fantastic!! Our mains were the pork with blueberry compote and the 10 ounce New York strip. Both proteins were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning we thought. My mashed potatoes could have used a creative butter option or maybe something like it on them also. Just a bit simple is all. Prices are up there for sure but with the quality of the ingredients its understandable. Service was fantastic, Tay was quick with everything and the bar was getting the drinks to her very fas

This was our first time eating here and we will definitely be back. The food was absolutely amazing and our server Michelle was great! I had the walleye and my wife had the meatloaf they were both packed with flavor. Lots of tap ciders and beers not to mention creative mixed drinks.

The food was amazing but the service, while nice, was fairly slow. Had to ask for a refill and then for our bill and to go box. I got the nachos which were HUGE. My husband got the walleye and said it was very good but there just wasn't enough.

This place is fantastic!! Great vibe, great crew and drinks. And the food was so good. We are glad to be able to have a nice restaurant choice in the community. We will be back again and again to try all the wonderful food options. The bar is cute and would be a nice place to stop for drinks with friends. And a private room for events is also a nice option to have in our town.

My first time visiting Applewood Kitchen and Bar. First impression is alot of work went into the atmosphere. Beautiful tabels of re-purposed wooden doors. The staff itself were very friendly, we did have to walk from restaurant to bar to find them. (Which to me isn't a problem as it allowed me to see the beauty and time put into the building.) Our server was a lovely lady by the name if Kara. She was very friendly and kind. Always checked up on us and kept our drinks full. Now to the food and drinks. I ordered a French Lavender mixed drink. And boy, was that drink delicious; reminded me of a nice summer day. It was refreshing but also very tasty. I ordered the Venison&Boar pasta. Starting off it was very beautiful to look at and smelled even better. I was served a rather large portion
