Applebee's Grill + Bar

I did not have a good experience at this establishment. My friends and I went in for dinner around 7:30pm. When we sat, we noticed there was a wait station with employee bags in the middle of the restaurant at a high top. There was also a child with an employee sitting at the table for the duration of our visit. We got an appetizer, however, we weren’t given any plates to split it. I have a severe tree nut allergy, and when mentioned to the server, I was rudely told to scan a QR Code and look at the allergens myself to see what I could and could not eat. I ordered a bowl, which included avocado. A few moments later, the server came out and asked if avocado was a tree nut, as the chef claimed it was. Avocado is a fruit. Went here with the family. Only 4 of us. Sat down with menus and was asked what we wanted to drink? "Going to have to give me a couple minutes thanks." 2 minutes later waitress comes back and asks what we want to drink. We give our drink order. Unfortunately the kids and I wanted plain or coffee milk, but they only had 2% or low fat either way disgusting watered down milk, no normal whole milk. We were then asked what we wanted to eat. We barely had time to look at the drink menu let alone the 3 menus that were given to us (Two adult menus (one inside the other) and a kids menu). Definitely felt rushed. When last night around 9:45pm. It wasn’t that many people but very short staff. The bartender had the bar and was a waitress outside the bar at the same time. Food was horrible. Cold, not flavor. We have to same back to the kitchen and this took another 45 minutes to come back ant 11:00 pm. And again my food was still cold. We never see the manager and at the end we paid the full price. I didn’t eat my food. Terrible service in general.

Fast service, we were seated right away. Everything was perfect and delicious.

My Sister had the three cheese chicken penne and it was good but needed a little more sauce. My husband and I got the 2 for $26 meal which his was the fiesta lime chicken with waffle fries and loaded mashed potatoes which was great; I had the steak with shrimp and parmesan topping with loaded potatoes and their Mac and cheese. I also agree that my pasta needed a little more sauce but other than that food was good.
