Applebee's Grill + Bar

My server was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and checked in on my son and me throughout our visit. The food was also excellent. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by the host. She seemed disengaged and neglected customers, including us. Despite seeing us arrive and calling her over, she continued cleaning tables without acknowledging us. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 15 years, and this behavior is not acceptable for a host. She didn’t smile or interact appropriately with any guests, and I observed her treating multiple customers the same way. At one point, she even yelled across the restaurant to an elderly customer instead of approaching them politely. Service was fantastic. Our server was actually running around who happened to also be the bartender so she's doing the bar in several tables which was kind of interesting considering he had two servers that didn't seem to really be doing anything. We did get an appetizer which was cheese sticks and they came out cold. My fiance, I got a steak which is properly cooked. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes were cold and the broccoli looked like it might have been a little old. I got a chicken parm which was less than desirable. It was overcooked which was amazing because it came out cold. The noodles, the alfredo and was super thick and again that was cold.

This place is aweful. Service was terrible. There for over two hours table was full of dishes and shaker cups from martinis. The waitress maybe checked on us all of 3 times the entire time. Food took easily over an hour to come out. Then the food was maybe warm… if that. Girlfriend didn’t even get her food. It was a joke. Then still ended up paying 90$ tab after food was sent back and not receiving orders. We basically spent 90$ to be miserable for over two+ hours on a Friday night. I will never go back and I will steer anyone I know elsewhere. The entire experience sucked the service, the food, the management, and the restaurant was filthy. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. Avoid this place!!!

Went there last night, never again. We’ve had problems with this location before like cold food and bad service but last night was the worst experience we’ve ever had at any restaurant. We talked to the host that said 20-30 minute wait. We waited 40 minutes. She said the kitchen was backed up but everywhere we looked the tables were full of food. Not even appetizers, full entree meals. Servers were goofing off at the bar, servers were not rushing food out but yet there were over 5 tables open. But we understand, maybe we weren’t seeing the full picture. However after waiting 40 minutes I asked the host how much longer and she said it would be another 40 minutes, but definitely longer than that. We should have been updated the wait time while we were sitting there watching everyone else eat

Our waitress was friendly and attentive! Food was good - my steak was cooked to perfection! The problem we had was our meal got ready before our appetizer... she asked if we wanted to wait or go ahead and get our meal. Went ahead and ate our meal and as we were eating the last bites the appetizer came out and it was still cold in spots. Our waitress apologized and seemed to be as perplexed as we were.
