Applebee's Grill + Bar

I had a really nice time here. The food was good. It was just that this one waiter. I don’t know what his name is but he was like bald and he was tall and we were dining in around like Saturday around like 1130 to 130 and he was just being so rude when I asked him when I asked them for the change because we had already tipped him and we asked for the change back because I misunderstood him and then when I asked him again, he walked away so I missed out on my $10 and as soon as I was trying to go approach him because he didn’t wanna approach me. He went into the staff area so I couldn’t. I couldn’t go in there obviously but I’m still like upset about all my money that has been seeped into the depths of Applebee’s thank you. I would like My money back and for him to come to me directly face-

The redesign interior is very nice. I haven't been here in years. I had a good time met some friends. We had a great time and a great dinner.

The Waiter Alicia was terrible. She did not even bring us knifes with our utensils and we had to ask another waiter. She also did not check up on us at all the entire time we was there. She did not bring any waters to the table with our other drinks. We were there an 1hr 30 mins and aggravated. The appetizer of mozzarella sticks came out 2 mins before our food and it took 35 mins to get the appetizer. By the time the appetizer was there we almost finished our drinks and we were not asked if we wanted another drink. The waitress alicia did not even apologize for anything and mind this it was not busy in the restaurant. When I told her about the food allergy she acted like well that comes with it and i know for a fact that they can make the food without the mushrooms. This was horrible custo

The manager at this establishment was HORRIBLE , very rude and racist! Not helpful at all , Assumed we didn’t have enough money on our card because we got charged an extra $13 on our bill and wanted to know where it came from. Our server Adrianna was very nice & helpful to us but the white man with glasses and dirty brown apron was highly disrespectful , rude and not helpful at all. Such a shame because I’ve never had this issue here before!

My family and I visited on Sunday, November 16, 2025, and had Gianna as our server. She greeted us with a smile and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. She made appetizer recommendations, and we went with the loaded fries. The main meal arrived HOT; maybe I should have waited just a minute to sample my skillet meal! Gianna was always available for us and made sure that our glasses were never empty. She is a valuable asset to Applebee's East Islip. We WILL be asking to have Gianna as our server from now on!
