Applebee's Grill + Bar

After a long day of work from 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM without even stopping for a meal, I was completely drained. My first thought was, where can I go to get a hearty meal fast? I pulled into this Applebee’s, and to my surprise, there was no wait — which was right up my alley. I walked straight up to the bar and immediately ordered a beer. It was one of the coldest beers I’ve had in a looong time! That first sip instantly took the edge off and helped me shake off the exhaustion from the day. Once I regrouped, I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken & Broccoli. Everything came out really fast, so fast I didn’t even have time to snap a picture! I placed an online order and when I received it, ranch had spilled all over the boxes and bag. I cleaned the boxes myself and went back in to ask them for more condiments since the bag was soggy. I’d ordered the mini cinnamon rolls. I didn’t want to wipe off the icing since the bag was awful. I’d also asked for the Carmel since I noticed it wasn’t in the bag as well. The lady working the door had a nasty attitude. Rolling her eyes and making loud comments in regards to me when she’d walked in the back to ask them for icing and caramel . As if somehow I’d made the mess myself when I grabbed the bag and walked a few steps to my car. Not to mention the cinnamon rolls are harder than southern cracklings. I really love Applebee's, but the quality of service today was questionable. Upon arriving, I had to wait until another employee got up (I guess she was on break) to go in the back and get the hostess. After being seated, I ordered a frozen cocktail from the bar. By the time it got to me, it was literally water. My server asked if I wanted the bartender to remake it. I declined and ordered a cocktail on the rocks. The atmosphere was dead!! There was no one here except my party of three and two other couples. And our food still took 40 minutes to come out!! However, I can't complain about the food!! It was freshly cooked and HOT!! And good!! I'm guessing the wait came from lack of employees as it was the lull between lunch and dinner...

UPDATE: We went here on a Wednesday afternoon (06-18-25), and service was beyond slow, not sure if that had to do with kitchen or wait staff, but for me, my husband, son, and mom, it took about 2.5 hours from sitting down to leaving, and there wasn't hardly ANYONE in the building. I do not recommend eating here if you are in a hurry or have plans to be somewhere at a specific time. BUT, the chips for the dip were crumbs again and stale, so we had to ask for more. We all got our food before my 7 year old, so we were giving him food from our plates before he got his. The waitress was nice, and I'm sure she couldn't help how slow things were going. Went in on Friday night me and the husband they weren’t busy. We sat there over an hour waiting on our food when our food came it was cold so I highly recommend that you don’t eat here if I could give them zero stars, I would I definitely will never come back we did not pay for the food. We did not eat the food. We just got up and left.
