Applebee's Grill + Bar

I’ve bee going to this location for years. I like the new remodel. The staff is friendly all the time. You don’t wait long to waited on and your waitress takes care of you with a cheerful smile. The food is great or at least the dishes I’ve had over the years.

I don’t normally eat at Applebees but since it was close to home I decided to stop in. This location has a newly renovated look. Very modern, clean, neat and open. Service was terrible! I should’ve known it would be bad because we waited over ten minutes when we first arrived to be sat at a table. The menu variety was large, food still lack luster. It was very cold and our server must’ve left and gone home because we didn’t see him after he took our order, which he didn’t bother to write down and still got incorrect. The manager and another server attempted to help us but we still sat for extended periods of time with no service at all, empty glasses and waiting on a check. It’ll be more years before I return if ever.

The place was a wreck when I arrived, with leftover dishes strewn about the bar, and the bartender was surly. I arrived at 7:57 on a Monday night. The bartender's first words to me were" Move your hat," and that was at 8:25. It was at that time that I felt the need to address his brusque behavior. I told him that I did not appreciate being greeted with a command to move my hat. He rudely applied that he was busy and not ignoring me. I was very put off by his response and his attitude. I have worked in the service industry for a very long time, and I would never treat a patron like that. He made it seem like I was there at his discretion and that I should be so lucky to give my money to Applebee's. We had Rod as our waiter, he was wonderful!! Food and drinks, everything was great

I would give a negative number if I could after Saturday. I understand being busy on a Saturday that’s fine but to sit at a table for an hour and no one said a word. Several employees walking buying playing on their phones talking loud and ratchet. I politely asked a young lady if anyone was working in the area she had the worst attitude known to man. Maybe she was having a bad day. The place smelled like weed too.
