Applebee's Grill + Bar

We are traveling cross country and pulled of the interstate to grab a quick meal. Our waiter was sweet and professional. The food was the worst we had ever been served. The steamed broccoli was old and overcooked and the romaine was brown and wilted. The grilled chicken breast was overcooked or microwaved, very tough and rubbery. Our other meal was the same poor quality. A very greasy and overcooked burger with soggy fries, swimming in grease. We cannot recommend this restaurant chain at the Albert Lea location

Waited 20min to be seated with one family in the restaurant and 2 people at the bar. Ericka waited on us and was extremely rude and passive aggressive. Another person brought the food out and slammed it down on the table and wouldn’t even say a word or give it to who ordered. Truly wild. Please do not leave a response to my review suggesting me to click on a link to share more information, I’ve already given all the info in this review.

Friendly staff and great food! I've always loved their chips and dip, and the salmon was amazing! Clean building and staff were sanitizing constantly. Server was very nice and attentive. Im from out of town, but will definitely stop back here again next time I come down. Overall, a great experience and fantastic food! Thanks for all your hard work!

Pulled in off the interstate . They were very busy and the hosted refused to seat us until the kitchen caught up. As to "not confuse the servers " we asked if we could sit at the bar for a drink and then seated , she didn't offer we had to ask. Then the bartender didn't even acknowledge us with a hi folk I will be right with you or anything. Then a man who was obviously a regular came in sat next ti us and he was acknowledged. As a bartender and servers am very understanding. But they didn't even try!

Have repeatedly waited over 30 minutes past pick up time to receive my car side to go order. Just to then receive food that is no longer warm. Had to either call or go inside to get my order. Defeats the purpose of ordering car side. Nowhere does it say that I need to call when I arrive to receive my order? Very unsatisfied.
