Appa Sushi & Bento Teriyaki

Wow, this place is great. We pass by often and finally gave it a try. And we are glad we did. Service is excellent, very nice people and warming welcome. We were given samples of their flavorful kimchee and veggie tempura - it both tasted great! On to the food, I have to say that it was tasty and cooked just right. They use fresh ingredients, which is a rarity nowadays. The nigiri sushi cuts of sashimi was nice and thick using decent quality fish. Please look at the pictures. I'm sold on Appa Sushi, will bring my coworkers here as well. Its so hard to find a restaurant that have every aspect of good quality dining compounded with great hospitality. Excellent service and exceptional food at an amazing price! Sarah has such an infectious smile, it's hard not to like this place. She is a complete sweetheart. I found this place looking for a quick spot for lunch. It was exactly what I needed on an overcast and rainy day. I will definitely make this a regular spot for me to visit. I got the chicken teriyaki and veggie yakisoba lunch special. I will be back to try the sashimi and sushi another day. Their kimchi was absolutely delicious 😋

Very charming local favorite! Delicious food, fast and attentive service. Chef is right in front making sushi. Simple but effective interior design, a line of Polaroid photos lines the wall with the faces of happy customers adds to a comfortable atmosphere. Free appetizer course of fried panko vegetables was a nice surprise. Sushi is FRESH. Would come back!

The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. So many things to choose from. Very homely and lively. Love the decor.. y’all need to try this place. I was my husband and I first time and we will be returning.
