Antonio's Trattoria Cucina Italiana

We had 3 appetizers. Chopped antipasto salad, artichoke hearts franchese, & stuffed mushrooms. All were very good & quite tasty. We had4 entrees, which were also very good. My entree was shrimp franchese over homemade papadalle ($3 upcharge to change from linguini). Other entrees were salmon, chicken with capers & chicken marsala. Pictures attached.

Antonio’s makes really good food, historically. The pizza is above par when for Jersey standards. And their gluten free pie is excellent. However I just got take out and ordered their Buffalo wings, and got 6 mealy wings that weren’t even sauced right. They were somehow over sauced and not sauced simultaneously …For $18… I mean, just take a look. I’ll definitely try them again because everyone has a busy and /or off night but close to twenty bucks for greasy diner quality buffalo wings is not okay. I challenge them to do better.

We came here blindly, never having been in the area before. The restaurant is BYOB. There is a liquor store 5 minutes down the road if you need to grab something. Hostess was very nice, the owner ( older Italian gentleman) came around asking how are meal was and assisting where needed. The waitress was nice, a little busy but it was a busy Saturday night. For apps we had baked clams and the artichokes. The artichokes were delicious!!! Dinner was shrimp and risotto, and steak with potato and broccoli rate. Steak came very over. ooked but waitress was happy to bring it back and get us a new one which was very good and cooked medium as requested. Desert was a waffle caramel yummy desert and coffee. We absolutely love Antonio’s — we have enjoyed every single meal here and the service is phenomenal. Happy once again with our experience this evening — Vanessa was our server and she provided prompt, excellent service. Could not recommend more!

Very nice traditional Italian restaurant with a good extensive menu, fine service and great desserts. We started with a bowl of the chicken in brodo which was exceptional, great chicken flavor with fresh vegetables and noodles. We then had their eggplant parmesana which was above average and their chicken marsala that did not disappoint. We finished our meal with a very good tartuffo and an outstanding warm croissant stuffed with a pistachio cream. Wonderful meal and we will definitely be back.
