Antojitos Sofy

I’ve passed Antojitos Sofy on my way to work so many times and finally stopped, and I’m glad I did. They serve tacos de canasta with potato, pork, and bean fillings. It’s $13 for five tacos with all the toppings included. Simple and satisfying. These are estilo Jalisco, a bit different from the CDMX style I’m used to, but really well done. Clean, balanced, and not greasy or heavy like many tacos de canasta can be. I had a great conversation with Christian, the son and co-owner, who shared that the name is inspired by his younger sister. They open daily at 6am and sell out fast, usually around noon. Proud to see our community chasing their dreams through food. Sí se puede.
